An awareness-raising activity was successfully carried out with the people of Sitio Nuevo in the la Playita sector in the vicinity of the Isla de Salamanca Park, in order to talk on the prevention of forest fires in this sector.
After a journey of more than two hours by boat a group of men and women of the Air Combat Command No. 3 and National Natural Parks of Colombia reported reaching this sector and thus spreading a message of conservation and prevention of the environment.
In the same way, recreational activities were carried out with the children in which the care of the Park was explained to them in a didactic way, ratifying the commitment to the environmental project Hands to the Swamp. In the middle of the activity donations were distributed by the El Minuto de Dios Organization Foundation.
