At the facilities of the Atahualpa School in the municipality of Fontibón in Bogotá, the Military Transport Air Command of the Colombian Air Force successfully carried out its first Development Support Activity of 2023.
About 800 inhabitants of this municipality, near CATAM, received free of charge assistance in the specialties of Physiotherapy, Dentistry, Pediatrics, Psychology, Dermatology, General Medicine and legal advice by the Professional Officers of the Institution's Reserve. In addition, they received donations, medicines, snacks, recreation and artist presentations with the support of the Tropicana Radio Station.
This activity was possible with the support of the Local Mayor's Office of Fontibón, the Sub-Network composed of Health Services, the Minuto de Dios Organization Corporation, Colsubsidio, Social Integration, Tropicana, the District School Atahualpa and the National Police.
In this way, the Military Air Transport Command contributes to the development and improvement of the quality of life of the surrounding inhabitants and the most vulnerable.
