The Air Command of Combat Command No.7 of the Colombian Air Force joined the initiative of the municipal administration of Palmira, Valle del Cauca, with the goal of planting 10,000 trees.
Today, after three years and more than 80 planting activities, the goal was met in which public and private institutions, foundations, people and the Military Forces participated. Floral trees, shrubs, palms and native tropical specimens, now beautify the urban and rural areas of this region of the country.
The appointment of every Friday, led to reaching this goal, which in the same way carried out cleanings of green areas, water tributaries, parks and waste collection. Thanks to the participation and support of the Paraíso Nursery, the people of Valle del Cauca are greening and contributing to the cleaning and purification of the environment.
