This important finding was made thanks to the operation of Surface and Coast Guard units, together with a helicopter of the Colombian Navy, which worked in a multinational way with an aircraft of the Interagency Joint Task Force of the Southern Command of the United States - JIATFS and an air platform of the Netherlands.
In the third operation, three individuals of Dominican nationality were arrested, after the detection and maritime interception of a ship, in which they were transporting 11 sacks with narcotic substances. For this result, Surface and Coast Guard Resources of the Colombian Navy were combined with an aerial platform of JIATFS. The material was analyzed establishing that it was 271.1 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and 468 grams of marijuana.
The arrested personnel and the material were put into custody of the authorities to continue with the prosecution process.
