Within the framework of stability tasks in the department of Guaviare and through military intelligence work, it was possible to arrest three individuals who were traveling along the route that leads from San José to Villavicencio in a vehicle in which they were transporting hallucinogenic substances and ammunition.
Within the framework of the Ayacucho Operational Plan that the troops of the Twenty-Second Jungle Brigade are conducting, with the Infantry Battalion No.19 General Joaquín París, in the rural area of San José del Guaviare, department of Guaviare, and through intelligence work, it was possible to arrest in flagrante delicto three people when they were transporting 294 25-millimeter caliber cartridges, coca paste base and apparently 2.5 grams of bazuko (crack).
The individuals were taken into custody before the authority, as well as the evidentiary material elements. It is noteworthy that during the procedure the finding of the van in which they were traveling took place.
These persons are charged with the crime of manufacturing, trafficking, carrying or possessing firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition, as well as trafficking, manufacturing or carrying narcotics. With this result, the illicit activities hit at an approximate cost of 66,300,000 Colombian pesos.
