Successful aeromedical transfer was made by the Caribbean Air Group, in response to the call of the National Personnel Recovery Center-CNRP of the Colombian Aerospace Force, after the need to transport in a timely manner a woman who required specialized medical assistance.
The 26-year-old patient, who in previous days had a traffic accident, was evaluated by the Providencia medical center, where they identified a significant injury to one of her legs; due to the degree of complexity and requirement of specialists, she was referred to the departmental hospital to safeguard her health.
This mission was carried out in a Caravan type C208-B ambulance an aircraft, with a highly trained crew, including a doctor and a nurse, who upon arrival at the island of Providencia received the patient and provided the necessary medical care during the flight and at her arrival in San Andrés.
