During the river operations, 810 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride were found by troops.
A complex for the production of cocaine hydrochloride and five laboratories for the production of coca paste base, were destroyed by the Colombian Navy in the municipalities of Tumaco and Olaya Herrara in the department of Nariño.
Product of the operations of the Navy Infantry Brigade No.4 attached to the Joint Task Force for Stabilization and Consolidation Hercules, against the drug trafficking chain, framed in the guidelines of the Ayacucho Operational Campaign Plan, six illegal infrastructures with dimensions of 20 to 40 square meters were found by troops. Then structures had inside 810 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride, 1,105 gallons of coca leaf in process, 540 kilograms of dry coca leaf, 685 kilograms of solid precursors such as cement, lime, activated carbon, and sodium sulfate, 573 gallons of liquid supplies, such as DIESEL, gasoline, acetone, thinner and ammonia, utensils for the manufacture of narcotic drugs and communications equipment.
It should be noted that these infrastructures had the capacity to process up to three tons of illicit substances per month, for their subsequent transport to Central America and commercialization on the streets of the world.
With this heavy blow the Navy Brigade no.4 hit the finances of the Residual Organized Armed Group Coordinadora Guerrillera del Pacifico, structures Iván Ríos and Alfonso Cano, by more than four billion COP.
The material was destroyed by the crew of the Naval Institution in coordination with the Judicial Police, complying with the established protocols in controlled conditions, without hitting the environment or the communities.
