The Expodefensa 2023 Fair, which will take place until Thursday, December 7th in Corferias, presenting complete solutions for Latin American and Caribbean countries, which are in search of preventing their changing challenges and working to raise the security of their resources and citizens. This event has a wide academic agenda that includes keynotes and conferences with important panelists.
Among the topics presented at the first part of the Fair, there was the keynote talk by Daniela Gómez, who, as deputy Minister of Defense in charge, explained the perspectives of Defense and Security Policy, and some companies expanded the information on the Operation Esperanza, with the resources of the Colombian Aerospace Force at the service of an entire country.
On the second day of the Fair, the Director of Resources and Logistics of the Ministry of National Defense, Luis Edmundo Suárez, explained the new spaces for the defense of sovereignty, which has to do with the exponential growth in the coverage of cyber space.

In addition, private companies led conferences such as Extended Intelligence for threat anticipation in cyberspace, seeking to explore cybersecurity and the integration of artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics to redefine the way organizations anticipate and respond to digital threats.
For its part, a British company was in charge of talking about Radio frequency detection, finding and analysis for national security, the implementation of the law and the protection of resources, which finds sources of radio frequency (RF) emissions such as radios, radars, GPS interference and many other types of signals, with a constellation of 21 satellites.
It is expected that, for the third day of the Fair, the president of the Military Industry, indumil, General Ricardo Gómez, and the manager of the Colombian Aeronautical Industry Corporation, CIAC, will explain the role of the defense industry in socio-economic developments, among other topics.
