In relation to a video that spreads by instant messaging and in some social networks, where a situation conducted by two members of the National Police and a non-commissioned officer of the National Army, is reported, it is necessary to highlight that it is an isolated incident, which is being handled jointly by the two institutions.
The Command of the Thirteenth Brigade contacted with the Sub commander of the Metropolitan Police of Bogotá, who immediately took internal measures and proceeded to open a disciplinary investigation.
In a communication, the senior officer of the National Police provided a message of excuses to the army and the non-commissioned officer for the incident reported, highlighting that these acts do not represent in any way the actions of the members of the Institution.
The coordination between the two institutions has been cordial, respectful and objective, as they are united by the vocation and service to the homeland.
