This strategy will combine a new capability of the National Navy with elements of river combat made of four small size boats to improve mobility, security and River control and the strengthening of operations in the Arauca River with more navy men, who will cover all fronts and guarantee territorial control in the region.
2. Colombian National Army increases the number of units with 2,000 men, who will strengthen the activities carried out by the border observation Squadron. There will be a platoon of urban special forces, 29 platoons (1,000 soldiers in June), 30 more platoons (1,000 soldiers in October).
3. The Ministry of the Interior will prioritize resources for the recruitment of light River combat elements for the National Navy.
4. Within the commitments of the national government as Arauca Future Zone, there is a 35 billion pesos investment that will be made to strengthen security and social issues, which will be represented in the construction of the Puerto Jordan Police Station, strengthening the FURON command of the National Army, purchasing boats and technological elements for the National Navy, and improving the Air Force technology for air surveillance.
5. The National Police through the Anti-Kidnapping and Anti-Extortion Directorate, will arrange the special intervention for 30 days of the CEAEX Special Anti-Kidnapping and extortion Corps, to provide support to the needs of the region and mainly with the intention of preventing acts of extortion with the promotion of the plan I do not pay, I denounce.
6. The National Police will strengthen the Quadrant community surveillance model in the municipality of Tame, with the creation of two new quadrants, in response to the needs of urban surveillance and security of the municipality.
8. The government of Arauca, in coordination with the National Police and with the advice of the Directorate of Incorporation, will manage the resources to grant 40 scholarships to Araucans who wish to join the National Police as patrolmen; they will serve in the Department.
9. The Border Management, in coordination with the government and the GIFMM (interagency group of mixed migratory flows), will establish the migrant transitional care center in the municipality of Arauca, with which the security and coexistence of citizens on the Arauca–Tame route will be positively impacted.
