The Colombian Navy in maritime control operations, assisted a minor who shipwrecked in the Bay of Cartagena.
The emergency was known thanks to the call of a citizen who reported the shipwreck in the vicinity to the Naval Club. Apparently, the girl conducted a water sport called Wing Foil, which consists of standing on a table, holding directly a delta wing and uses energy of the wind as well as that of the waves to propel and move through the water. In this activity, she lost control of the sail and felt in the sea.
Immediately the Cartagena Coast Guard Station deployed a unit to the area, finding the board and carrying out the rescue of the unconscious minor of the water, to which first aid was provided and she was transported to the pier Las Gaviotas from where she was taken to a medical center in the city, where they verify her state of health.
