At the crisis room of the National Disaster Risk Management Unit in the city of Bogotá, the Colombian Navy and other operational institutions participated on February 10 and 11, in the Regional Exercise of the Americas MECODEX2022.
This international virtual simulation exercise is organized every year by the Inter-American Defense Board in Washington, D.C., in order to validate the Mechanism for Cooperation in Disasters (MECODEX) and provide training to the 31 participating countries on disaster response.
