A laboratory for the production of cocaine hydrochloride was destroyed in a joint and coordinated operation conducted by the Colombian Air Force, the National Army and the National Police, in the Miraflores village, in the municipality of Tibú in Norte de Santander.
At the scene, the Military Forces seized 731 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride, 122 kilos in coca paste base, 150 kilograms of solid precursors and 143 gallons of liquid precursors of the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Structure 33,.
This operation, left a loss to the GAO-r E-33 for more than 4 billion pesos, a blunt blow with which continuity in the chain of production and distribution of narcotic drugs is prevented, a criminal activity which hits the progress of the country and in turn hits the tranquility and quality of life of Colombians.
