Private Juan Alejandro Rendón Acosta will receive his military card as a first class reservist, simultaneously, while serving his military service, obtains a law degree of the University Santo Tomás de Colombia, so he defines his military situation and consolidates his life project.
“I feel deep admiration, respect and pride for the Army, it is an institution that has historically protected the security of all Colombians and I dreamed of belonging to it since I was a child; I am proud to be a soldier of the homeland, to serve the nation and to fulfill all my goals and expectations; my advice to young people is to always fight for their dreams, to never give up and always move forward,” says Soldier Juan Alejandro Rendón Acosta.
With 24 years of life, this young Colombian, carries in his DNA the love for the homeland. His family by tradition has belonged to the Military Forces, his parents, police officers, have been his example to follow and who have instilled in him respect for values and principles, the vocation of service and education as a fundamental tool to conduct life.
Private Rendón entered the institution in February 2021, since then he has been part of the Military Police company of the ASPC Battalion. No.7, of the Seventh Brigade, where he has received comprehensive training. He thanks the institution for all the teachings given in the military and personal field, strengthening its values, discipline, responsibility and knowledge. In the same way, for having facilitated the continuity of his professional studies, he was able to achieve his professional diploma as lawyer.
During his stay in the military Forces, he has had the opportunity to put his legal knowledge into practice in the military framework, advising and supporting the entry processes of young people to define their military situation in the districts of Villavicencio Meta and Yopal Casanare, in accordance with the laws established in Law 1861 of 2017, on military recruitment.
