Paracaidismo militar fortalece operaciones de la Fuerza Aérea Colombiana

In order to strengthen the special operations carried out by the Colombian Air Force, military parachute training was carried out on the Velázquez airfield in Puerto Boyacá, putting into practice the maneuvers required in missions against organized armed groups and illegal mining.

This exercise is carried out to review reaction times and techniques, in addition to standardizing procedures in operations. It is carried out on fixed-wing aircraft and in the same way from helicopters of the air institution.

This time, the Special Air Commandos, who are part of the specialty of security and defense of air Bases, jumped from a UH-60 Black Hawk at more than 12,000 and 14,000 feet high, testing their skills in this discipline of military skydiving.

Thus, the Colombian Air Force prepares crews and commandos to execute operations that result in the safety of inhabitants and protection of Natural Resources.
