Incautada más de una tonelada de marihuana en Puerto Gaitán

Thanks to intelligence information of the Colombian Navy, in joint and coordinated operations with the Army and the National Police, Units of the Unified operation Group for Personal Freedom, Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group), found 1.205 kilograms of marijuana in the vicinity of the village Carimagua, in the municipality Puerto Gaitán, in the department of Meta.


The Creepy-type marijuana was being transported inside caches in a truck and was distributed in 34 bags containing rectangular packages of more than one kilogram each.


The truck driver was put into custody of the authorities for judicial prosecution. The intelligence information indicates that the finding belonged to a drug trafficking structure that commits crimes in the department of Cauca.
