In military operation, of security and defense, in interdiction tasks, the troops of the Infantry Battalion No.27 'Magdalena', of the Ninth Brigade, find 133 kilos of coca paste that were transported in a dump truck on the road that leads to Mocoa, in the department of Putumayo.

These individuals transported on board the dump truck, with plate SRN259, several packages wrapped in plastic and cardboard, corresponding to 133 kilos of coca paste.

 

The result led to the capture of the two individuals for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing and carrying narcotics, the immobilization of the vehicle, the discovery of the hallucinogenic substance valued in the illicit market at a cost of approximately 306 million pesos, a Huawei Y7 cell phone, two iPhones and a Nokia cell phone. The material and the men were put into custody of the Prosecutor's Office of the municipality of Pitalito.
