A Bell-212 helicopter of the Colombian Air Force arrived at the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta to conduct the aeromedical transfer of a pregnant woman belonging to the Arhuaca Windiwa indigenous people, who presented a delicate injury in one of her limbs.
In this mission, we had the successful support of the troops of the First Division of the National Army, in Santa Marta, where the aircraft arrived and where she was expected by an ambulance, which transport her to the medical center.
The Air Combat Command Aircrews No.3 carried out this mission in a professional manner, providing the necessary care to the pregnant woman in flight and monitoring vital signs at all times.
